Applications Open for Texas Floral Endowment Scholarships
More than $6,500 in scholarships is available for floral students and professionals.
LEANDER, TEXAS (March 1, 2026) — The Texas Floral Endowment (TFE) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2026 TFE Scholarship funding cycle. Applications are open until April 15 to all qualified individuals, based on each award’s specific criteria.
“TFE is excited to invest in the promising futures of talented floral professionals, teachers and students,” said TFE President Gayle Johnson, TMFA. “Many of these awards honor remarkable individuals who left a positive mark on the industry and whose lives continue to inspire creativity, community and excellence. The TFE Board of Directors extends its heartfelt appreciation to each donor whose generous contributions make these scholarships possible.”
2026 TFE Scholarships
- Freytag Family Educational Scholarship, in Memory of Ann Hobbs — $1,200.
- Tubby Adkisson Educational Scholarship — $800.
- Floral Teacher Educational Scholarship in Memory of Becky Burt — $500.
- Cross Family Educational Scholarship, in Memory of Jane and Mark Knox — $500.
- TSFA Education Committee Judy Rutledge Memorial Scholarship — $500.
- Society for the Advancement of Floral Design Texas Master Florist and Career Change Scholarship — $500.
- TSFA Past Presidents Scholarship — $500.
- Gina Waters Memorial Scholarship — $500.
- Sheri White Memorial Scholarship — $500.
- 2026 New Attendee Opportunity | Texas Floral Events — $300.
- Kassie Baker Memorial Scholarship — $300.
- TSFA Floral Event Registration Scholarship — $300.
Totaling $6,700, these scholarships will help increase access to educational opportunities for floral students and professionals at all career stages. Recipients will be recognized at the Texas Floral Expo in San Marcos on June 19-21. Learn more and apply today at tsfa.org/scholarship.
